The final payment must be made at least 14 days before the event to guarantee a seamless process and prevent any potential delays.
It is essential that all dietary requirements and the confirmed number of guests are submitted by the deadline of 14 days before the event. This will enable us to finalise the menus and make the necessary arrangements.
We acknowledge that there may be occasions when it is essential to modify the date of your reservation. Changes to the date are allowed up to 30 days before your event, and your deposit will be transferred to a future date without any penalties.
Any date changes made after this period will be considered a cancellation.
Please be aware that Private Chef Jethro is typically fully booked for weekends up to three months in advance, so flexibility may be necessary if you need to make any changes.
Additionally, if your rescheduled date is more than six months from the original date, you may need to pay the updated menu pricing.
The initial deposit is non-refundable.
Cancellation made within 7 days of the event will result in the forfeiture of the entire payment.
When using a gift voucher for your booking payment, please be advised that once the gift voucher is redeemed and the date is confirmed through email, the standard cancellation terms and conditions will take effect.
Should you require a postponement more than 30 days prior to the event, we will transfer the monetary value to your new date without any penalties.
However, if the postponement occurs within 30 days, 25% of the amount will be deducted before it is applied to your new date.
In the case of a cancellation made within 7 days of the booking, the entire value of the gift voucher will be forfeited.
To maintain the exceptional quality of our menus and to provide you with the best possible experience, reservations for more than 15 guests may necessitate the hiring of an additional chef.
The cost for the additional chef is $55 per hour, with a minimum commitment of 5 hours. This requirement will vary based on the specific type of experience you have arranged and will be discussed individually.
